Ahmed Issa, Egypt’s Minister of Tourism and Antiquities said that his ministry is thinking organizing several activities connected to the environmental segment in the coming few weeks.

Among these undertakings are tourism programmes for the delegations joining in the 27th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention on Climate Change (COP27), which Egypt would be hosting in Sharm El-Sheikh next November.

Minister Issa said that the tourism programmes will be carried on in popular Egyptian tourist destinations like the cities of Sharm El Sheikh, Hurghada, Luxor and Aswan among others.

The objective behind this programme is to acquaint with the Egyptian tourist and archaeological foundations in the above-mentioned tourist spots concerning the delegations taking part in the climate conference.

The minister also mentioned the most noticeable axes of the Egyptian national tourism plan, which will be unveiled during the first quarter of next year. Minister Issa opined that the anticipated objective of this strategy is augmenting the number of incoming tourism to the Egyptian tourist destinations by 25% to 30% yearly.

Egypt boasts of a plethora of tourist and archaeological elements, including wonderful nature, bright and warm sunshine and sunny beaches, besides the museums and archaeological locations with rich cultural heritage.

Tourists can revel in various tourist patterns and products that Egyptian tourist destinations have to offer, including beach and recreational tourism, cultural tourism, family and adventure tourism, along with miscellaneous tourism products.
