Amanda Elder is promoted to the position of chief commercial officer with immediate effect with the Kempinski Hotels.
She joined Kempinski in 2014 as vice president of sales and marketing for Kempinski in China.
Here, she looked after all arms of business development for this market. In her most recent role she served as the senior vice president of business development and led the teams responsible for Kempinski sales, marketing, distribution, revenue management and hotel public relations worldwide.
Markus Semer, chairman of Kempinski Hotels said that Amanda is a key person in materializing the strategic roadmap to life across several aspect of business development. He was confident that she will help the country grow globally.
Amanda holds more than 25 years of experience in the luxury hospitality field where she served as the global sales marketing and operations positions across Europe, Middle East, Africa and China.
Elder was a member of the management board of Kempinski Hotels since March 2017 and in April 2018 she was elected as the chairperson of the Global Hotel Alliance marketing strategy board.
