An airplane that was operated by AirAsia was compelled to make an emergency landing at Naha airport early on Monday owing to an engine issue. Luckily, none of the passengers and crew members have been injured.
The Kuala Lumpur flight that was carrying 379 passengers and crew members aboard finally was able to make a landing at the airport in Okinawa Prefecture around 3 a.m. after it had departed from Haneda Airport of Tokyo.
As per the ministry’s office at Haneda airport, the right engine of the developed problems around 2.15 a.m.
Thereafter it landed after the captain of the airplane declared an emergency and eventually shut down the engine.
After the plane landed it took over six hours for all the passengers to leave the airplane according to an airport source. The reason was not known immediately.
