Each year this is the time when the celebrations centre on the labours of the USA who have fought at various stages of social and economic change. Now, this is a time when more than 53% of American travellers are moving to the countryside to celebrate the weekend. An estimated 137 million Americans are planning to travel.

This is the first time after Covid and related complications that the American traveller has decided to go out and enjoy the outside with full glamour. The gas price is increasing at the same rate but despite the pressure, the enthusiasm is full on. The US government is urging the travellers to mind millions of others who are on the same travel. The roads are likely to be very busy this year with the advent of so much travel.

It is recommended that the best time to leave the house is before 6 am and after 9 pm. This will help millions of people to avoid jams on road. Especially on days Thursday and Friday, this time management is going to be very important for the travellers who want to travel.

Gas prices are likely to affect the travels of Arizonans. The average cost of a gallon of gasoline Tuesday in Arizona is $4.00. Last year at the same time, Arizonans had to pay $3.11.Of the Labor Day road-trippers, 26% said they will travel within 100 miles of home. About 13.5% said they will drive to a destination within 500 miles of home.

But as 14 per cent of Americans intend to travel primarily by plane for Labor Day, a higher figure than for both this year’s Fourth of July and Memorial Day weekends, consumers are planning their trips smartly. A little less than 36 per cent said they would travel primarily by car during the Labor Day weekend.

Within this Twenty-six per cent of the overall car travellers said they plan to go on a road trip within 100 miles of their homes while 13.5 per cent intend to stay within a 250-mile radius. Only 13.2 per cent plan to take a more than 500-mile road trip.

This data might be the reason why the gas prices are not affecting the general enthusiasm. For this kind of trip, age is often just not the number. 36% of people are travelling primarily by car. Only 32 per cent of Americans over age 60 will travel for Labor Day; however, 60 per cent of travellers aged between 18 to 29 and 30 to 44, which translates to 60 per cent of all travellers from 18 to 44 said they will be travelling. 56 % of the travellers between the age group of 45 to 60 said that they are going to travel.
