Mumbai was the first Indian city to be served by Etihad Airways with the launch of daily flights in September 2004. Three months later, flights were also launched between Abu Dhabi and New Delhi. Today, Etihad Airways offers 159 weekly flights spread across 10 gateway cities of Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Cochin, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Kozhikode, Mumbai and Thiruvananthapuram.
