EU will reimpose entry ban on US travellers and 5 other countries

EU is all prepared to propose Travel Restrictions on U.S. visitors. The officials have explained that the United States will be eradicated from a “safe list” of countries whose inhabitants can travel to the 27-nation bloc without additional restrictions like quarantine and testing requirements.

European Union institutions two officials have confirmed that on Monday, the EU Council will declare its assessment to remove from the list of epidemiologically safe third countries a total of six including the United States.

This removal list signifies that the Member States are suggested to re-impose the ban on travelers from these countries so that the same are no longer eligible to enter restriction-free for tourism and business purposes.

The decision on ban reimposing on US travellers has been taken on Friday, August 27, but it will be officially declared only on Monday, August 30. The complete list of the countries affected goes as follows:

• Lebanon
• Montenegro
• North Macedonia
• United States
