The European Commission-funded Partnerships in European Tourism project would be arriving in Beijing at the China Outbound Travel & Tourism Award in April 2018 as part of the 2018 EU-China Tourism Year.
Jean-Claude Junker, the President of the European Commission and the Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang had announced the 2018 EU-China Tourism Year.
And partnerships in European Tourism marks an initiative as part of this year that was aimed at supporting European travel businesses and also operators eager to expand their businesses into China.
This aim can be achieved via tutoring activities that facilitate fresh collaborations and partnerships through trans-European tourist products and the organization of B2B matchmaking and other promotional events alongside global fairs.
Currently it is in its 14th year.
