Eurostar will suspend direct trains to Disneyland Paris from 2023

The company has informed that the route is likely to be axed from 5 June 2023. The focus on the ‘core routes’ have to be there. The recovery from the pandemic has forced Eurostar to concentrate on the core routes.

They said they will revisit options for 2024 next year. They are also planning to revisit the plans ‘revisit options’ for 2024 next year. Direct trains between London St Pancras International and Marne-la-Vallee – a station next to Distant the entire route is likely to take two hours and 24 minutes.

The suspension of the routes would mean that passengers from then will have to change from Paris or Lille. The route has operated since 1996 though it had stopped at the time of the pandemic.

Eurostar spokeswomen have stated that Whilst they continue to recover financially from the pandemic and monitor developments in the proposed EU Entry-Exit system, they need to focus on their core routes to ensure a continued high level of service and experience that their customers can rightly point out.

The decision applied from 5 June 2023. The tickets are yet to be on sale beyond this date. Customer bookings are not likely to be affected. Julia Lo Bue-Said who is the chief executive of the Advantage Travel Partnership said the news is significantly disappointing for holidaymakers. Advantage Travel Partnership is a network that is connected with 700 UK travel agents.

She further added that taking young ones to the park will now be disrupted totally. She also alluded to the fact that Brexit has removed the possibility of the Europeans to travel freely all across Europe.
