FCM Travel Solutions India appoints Mr. Gaurav Luthra as the Chief Operating Officer

FCM Travel Solutions, Indian Subsidiary of Flight Centre Travel Group, Australia, has appointed Mr. Gaurav Luthra as the Chief Operating Officer of the company.

Mr. Gaurav Luthra is a distinguished industry veteran with over 20 years of vast experience in Managing Relationships with Airline and Hotel Partners, Key Account Management, Business Development, Operations Management and Procurement. In FCM, he has been credited with launching Corporate Traveller as the first SME travel proposition in the India market as well as Flight Centre’s first retail brand in India.

Congratulating Gaurav on the appointment, Mr. Rakshit Desai, Managing Director, FCM Travel Solutions said, “Gaurav has had a 20-year distinguished tenure at FCTG India and he has done justice to every challenge that came his way, ranging from product innovation and managing our supplier relations for better revenue outcomes to launching CT as the first branded SME travel proposition in this market. He now assumes responsibility for our corporate businesses including FCM and CT.”

Gaurav has been responsible for strategic implementation of new revenue lines for various verticals in India while maintaining and enhancing existing supplier contracting and relationships. Prior to becoming COO, he has led leadership roles at FCM and Travel Tours (erstwhile Flight Shop, leisure business of FCM Travel Solutions).
