As per the eVisitor system, not including the data for nautical services, from 1st to 28th of February, around 28,495 tourists stayed in Dubrovnik, which is 92 percent more than the same time last year and there were 49,397 overnight stays, or 38 percent more 2018.
In February, the highest number of guests was from Croatia, Germany, Bosnia and Herzegovina, USA, Sweden, Korea, Belgium, China, Finland and Denmark.
Of the total number of visitors in February, 25,779 guests were in Dubrovnik hotels, which are 106 percent more than 2018, and they made 38,178 overnight stays, or 49 percent more than in the same time in 2018.
During February, in private accommodation there were 1,809 guests, a rise of 14 percent in comparison to February 2018, with 6,993 overnight stays, which is 2 percent more than in the year before that.
The record preseason and the onset of the year in Dubrovnik highlighted connection with seven destinations in Europe, along with the charter program of senior group arrivals from Scandinavia and Germany, arranged by WTouristic Travel Agency, Karaci Group and RSD Reisen from Germany, with who over 30 thousand tourists will come to Dubrovnik before May 11th.
There were around 45,408 arrivals from 1st of January to 28th of February 2019, which is 69 percent more than 2018, with 87,899 overnight stays, or 24 percent more. The top five countries counting the greatest number of visitors in Dubrovnik from the beginning of the year are Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Germany, Korea and the United States.
