Fiji earned $647.5 million dollars from tourism between July and September this year.

The Bureau of Statistics confirmed that the September quarter earnings are 22% or $118.7 million higher than the June quarter of last year.

Australia again topped the list for the highest earnings with $260.8 million or 40% of the total.

New Zealanders spent $179.5 million or 27.7 percent of the total followed by the US. Fiji’s Earnings from Tourism estimates the average daily spending of tourists as per The International Visitor Survey.
