Finnair launches new summer menu

Finnair is launching its new summer menu, created in consultation with their signature chef, Tommy Myllymäki to celebrate the eight anniversary of its Singapore-Helsinki route.

 

 

From June 6 until September 5th the new menu will be available to customers flying the Singapore-Helsinki route on business class.

 

 

 

Since 2017,Swedish Myllymäki has been a Finnair Signature Chef and was nominated as chef of the year in Sweden. He was the creative director for five Stockholm restaurants and represented Sweden with great success in Bocuse d’Or competition.

 

 

On Finnair’s Midnight Menu dishes created by the chef will be serving starter course- a salmon tartar served along with marinated mushrooms, fresh trout roe and sprinkled with fried onion.

 

 

Mains of pan-seared perch with chilli-lemongrass sauce, bok choy in Balinese sauce and rice with sweet potatoes; and braised beef cheek with red wine sauce and mashed potatoes with truffle, carrots and pearl onions will be served will be served along with the dish.

 

 

The course will be accompanied by the Kikorangi blue cheese and Brie while the dessert choice will be ice cream, petit fours or fresh fruits.

 

 

Maarit Keränen, head of category, who oversees Finnair’s long-haul flight food concepts was excited to introduce the best cuisines as food plays a key role in the customer experience, and he felt adelighted to offer a little piece of the Nordics to the customers, who fly with them every day from Singapore to Helsinki.
