First Bharat Gaurav train starts trip from Secunderabad

On Saturday, the first Bharat Gaurav tourist train initiating from two Telugu states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, started its journey from Secunderabad railway station.


The General Manager of South Central Railways (SCR), Arun Kumar Jain, gave the welcoming supplies to the travelers in the attendance of the Chairman and Managing Director of IRCTC Rajni Hasija, along with other senior railway representatives.


A celebratory ambience was evident at the station with all travelers being given a traditional greeting and Kuchipudi dancers arousing cultural tradition of the two Telugu states.


Named ‘Punya Kshetra Yatra: Puri – Kasi – Ayodhya’, this special train is being run by IRCTC. IRCTC delivers end-to-end facilities for the pilgrims traveling by the train.


It comprises all travel amenities (including both rail along with road conveyance), lodging facility, food provisions (morning tea, breakfast, lunch and dinner – both on-board and off-board), facilities of expert and welcoming tour attendants, security on train (comprising CCTV cameras fit in all coaches), public announcement amenities in all coaches, travel coverage and attendance of IRCTC tour managers all through the travel for help.


The tour includes going to historic sites in Puri, Konark, Gaya, Ayodhya, Varanasi along with Prayagraj covering 8 nights and 9 days.


Mr. Arun Kumar Jain said that this train presents a unique chance for pilgrims to tour these ethnically conspicuous places minus the problem of scheduling separate itinerary stuffs.
