The first tourist train as part of the Union government’s ‘Bharat Gaurav’proposal will witness a lot of innovative options.
Two coaches in this train will have no berths, and this would let passengers practice yoga on their pilgrimage round tour of18-days — from Delhi to Nepal.The trip wouldcover seven Indian states. For practicing yoga, there would be trained instructors on the train, said the officials.
Thisnew train is a part of the‘Shri Ramayana Yatra service.’ It is a special tourist facility, which would be operated by the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC). The train will start from Safdarjung station in Delhi on the 21st of this month, which is known as as International Yoga Day.
A railway officialsaid that India’s first Bharat Gauravtraveler train will have diverse themes on all its coaches, with yoga being one of these themes. All passengers on board this train will be able to do yoga. Besides the train being designed for yoga performance, the special two coaches will have yoga instructors as well.
The official added that there would be no berths on the two special yoga coaches. This will assist passengers with enough space for performing yoga without any problem.
The train ticket is priced at Rs. 65,000 per head, which includes all meals, overnight hotel stopovers and insurance costs.
