Five-day Bharat Parv festival held at Red Fort in Delhi

India’s Tourism Ministry is hosting a five-day festival at the Red Fort in Delhi in for promoting the cultural diversities of the country. The festival, Bharat Parv, commencing from January 26, is scheduled to continue till January 31, 2020. The Ministry launched the festival to provide visitors with an opportunity to witness the splendor of the Republic Day tableaux.

 

This annual Bharat Parv has been organized for motivating Indians to visit different corners of the country and to instill the spirit of ‘Dekho Apna Desh’. This year, the central theme is ‘Ek Bharat Shreshta Bharat’ and ‘Celebrating 150 Years of Mahatma Gandhi’.

 

The Tourism Ministry said that the idea behind this festival is to celebrate the spirit of India by showcasing and promoting its diversity in culture. The festival is open for general public till January 31, and one can take part in this festival between 12 PM and 10 PM. Visitors will need to carry their IDs to gain access to the event; however, there is no entry fee for the event.

 

One will get an opportunity to taste different cuisines from various regions, from more than 50 food stalls from different states of the India. This fest will also feature 27 theme pavilions by states and ministries with more than 75 craft pavilions to offer visitors an experience of different kinds of crafts in India.

 

Bharat Parv will also feature several attractions for public like display of Tableaux of the Republic Day parade among others.
