Gyeonggi Province will soon start a tourism promotion campaign. To foreign nationals who are exploring popular destinations, it will provide up to a 75 percent discount, officials said this on Thursday.
The discount program is arranged by the local government and Gyeonggi Tourism Organization as the most populous province of the nation is all set to welcome the return of international tourists in the middle of the signs of declining coronavirus.
11 resorts, parks and museums will slash the prices of admission and other products by 10 to 50 percent under the program, and the provincial government will pay 50 percent of the amount of discount, additionally.
From the deal, international visitors and foreign residents and students in the nation will profit the most, which will be conducted from Friday and will continue till May 31st through important online travel platforms, like Trip.com, Hanyouwang and Viator.
The participating facilities comprise Everland, Seoul Land, Korean Folk Village, the Pig Museum, Wave Park, Sanmeoru Farm and Pocheon Herb Island.
Also, one-day packages on eight courses involving the sites will be on sale. The admission tickets can be used until Dec. 31, 2024. Up to 10 tickets an individual can buy.
