For Indian travelers, South Korea reintroduces unrestricted travel

The tourism wing of the Republic of Korea under the control of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Korea Tourism Organization, India, has recently declared about the re-opening of South Korea to all travelers coming from India. A diverse of recently declared prominent efforts by KTO India will allow greater number of Indian travellers to access the luxury market of South Korea, along with business leisure and learning experiences.


Over 130 exclusive experiences and activities, the country provides something for traveler of any age. If you are looking for scenic beauty and traditional charms, Jeju Island and Gyeongju are the most preferred tourist hotspots, while Seoul, Incheon and Busan like metro cities are perfect for business leisure trips. The organization is set to introduce twin-city roadshows for luxury travelers in the month of August. Here, the DMCs from Korea will take part. The roadshows will provide a quick look of the rich culture, exceptional venues and culinary strengthens of the country.


Keeping in mind, the increasing popularity of Hallyu or the Korean wave in India, the filming locations and experience centres which are Hallyu-themed are being developed as well. The Extended Reality (XR) playground HiKR Ground in Seoul is one such centre. For the fans of K-Pop and K-Drama, the reopening of borders will give an opportunity to explore the culture of the country they have grown to love.
