Four Seasons Hotel Guangzhou and Luxury Skincare Brand La Mer Partner for Indulgent Treatments in Hua Spa

Naturally aligned thanks to their fervent commitment to perfection, luxury and beauty, Four Seasons Hotel Guangzhou and iconic skincare brand La Mer are partnering together to offer special spa and afternoon tea experiences.

Twelve years and 6,000 experiments in the making, the original La Mer moisturising cream was created by German aerospace physicist Dr. Max Huber in 1965. Seeking a treatment for burns suffered during a lab accident, he developed a miraculous cell-renewing elixir from giant sea kelp – a formula that continues to deliver much-lauded skin-enhancing results to La Mer afficionados to this day.

With its own single-minded dedication to the highest of standards similarly dating back to the 1960s, Four Seasons has proven itself, time and time again, as the world’s leading luxury hotel brand for those who seek the finer things in life. Opened in 2012, as the then 88th property in the Four Seasons portfolio, Four Seasons Hotel Guangzhou is now an acclaimed Forbes Five Star establishment and one of the most highly respected hospitality havens in south China.

In the first of two collaborations, the iconic brands are uniting to present two superlative treatments at Four Seasons luxurious Hua Spa, an urban haven that towers 69 floors above the Pearl River. Formulated for skin fatigued from the trials of daily city living, the immersive 90-minute La Mer The Body Treatment aims to rejuvenate the whole body, while the 60 or 90-minute session La Mer The Lifting Facial helps define facial contours and “lift” skin back to its youthful glory.

Or guests may choose the second collaborative experience and enjoy the Hotel’s afternoon tea of the new season: Feel the Earth Themed Afternoon Tea with a 20-minute La Mer Hand Treatment. This an exquisitely crafted occasion in the intimate yet dramatic surrounds of the 70th-floor Atrium Lounge, served “hand in hand,” with a 20-minute La Mer Hand Treatment.

La Mer luxury experiences are available starting from CNY 2,680 per person, exclusive of 15 percent of government tax and service fees. Bookings are subject to availability.
