Ahh fall, the season that can be defined by perfect Texas weather, autumn-inspired sweets to bake, the smell of apple and pumpkin, football and outdoor festivals, as well as everyone’s favourite drink – the pumpkin spice latte. Dallas is an ideal vacation spot this fall season and Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas is the perfect place to rest after making memories with family and friends. Here is a list of Four Seasons employees’ fall favourites in Dallas.
Autumn at the Arboretum
Fall calls for all things pumpkin, and during Autumn at the Arboretum there are pumpkins for as far as the eye can see. Rated as “One of America’s Best Pumpkin Festivals” by Fodor’s Travel, the attraction features pumpkin houses and creative displays utilising more than 90,000 pumpkins, gourds and squash. This year’s theme is “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown,” featuring the Great Pumpkin filled with marigolds, Linus and Sally looking through the pumpkin patch, Snoopy and Woodstock sitting atop his dog house, Lucy at her advice hut giving “garden advice” and Schroeder playing a giant topiary piano. Guests can snap selfies with Charlie Brown, Peppermint Patty and Marcy behind the infamous brick wall and visit Pig Pen getting lost in the hay bale maze. Be sure to visit the Peanuts gang at their school house and stop at the multi-gourd decorated house for their autumn carnival. Dallas’ favourite fall tradition runs September 21 – October 31, 2019. The Arboretum is located approximately 30 minutes from the Resort. Visit online for more details.

Real Texas cowhands drive the herd every day at 11:30 am and 4:00 pm. Every detail of the cattle drive – from the saddles and chaps to the boots and hats – is authentic and historically true.
