Four Seasons Resort Hualalai Awarded Five-Stars by Forbes Travel Guide

Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is recognised by Forbes Travel Guide with the highest rating, Five-Star. Forbes Travel Guide announced the 2021 Star Award winners, one of the most coveted rankings in luxury hospitality. Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is the only Five-Star Resort on Hawaii Island and has received the top rating for the past thirteen years. The expansive and largely outdoor Hualalai Spa was award Four Stars and the Resort’s signature restaurant, ULU Ocean Grill + Sushi Lounge, is recommended by Forbes Travel Guide.

The sprawling oceanfront Resort boasts 243 bungalow-style guest rooms, Jack Nicklaus golf course, five restaurants, award-winning spa and fitness center, and seven pools. Located on the prestigious Kona coast of Hawaii Island, the Resort spans 800 acres (325 hectares) of manicured grounds with views from every angle of the Pacific Ocean, sky-scrapping mountains, lush landscapes, and lava rock fields. In December 2020, the iconic Resort debuted a multi-million dollar resort-wide renovation including reimagined guest rooms, suites, and villas, the addition of second pool at King’s Pond, opening of Kumu Kai Marine center, and renovated Hualalai Golf Course and re-opening of Hualalai Golf Hale.

Forbes Travel Guide anonymously rates luxury hotels and resorts throughout the world against up to 900 rigorous standards. Star ratings are awarded by a team of anonymous professional inspectors who travel the world to assess hotels, restaurants and spas based on 900 objective standards. Star ratings ultimately emphasise quality of service. Five-Star properties are defined as “outstanding, often iconic properties with virtually flawless service and amazing facilities.”
