Frontier Airlines expands Caribbean reach, introducing three weekly flights between Trinidad and San Juan, enhancing regional connectivity.

Starting July 11, Frontier Airlines, a budget carrier based in the U.S., will initiate a direct service from Piarco International Airport in Trinidad to Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in San Juan, Puerto Rico. This new air route, pending official authorization, will expand Frontier’s Caribbean network to 12 destinations.

The service will operate three times weekly, although schedules may adjust over time.

Frontier is celebrated for its budget-friendly fares, commitment to sustainable flying, and promotional offerings.

The company has also rolled out UpFront Plus, an enhanced seating arrangement featuring increased space for both legs and elbows in the first two aircraft rows. Passengers opting for UpFront Plus will enjoy either a window or an aisle seat, assured additional legroom, and an assured vacant middle seat.

Moreover, Frontier’s revamped frequent flyer program, FRONTIER Miles, promises substantial rewards under the motto “Get It All For Less.” The program allows customers to accumulate miles quickly with every dollar spent on Frontier’s services, offering a base rate of ten miles per dollar.

As travelers ascend through various elite tiers, they can earn up to 20 times the miles per dollar spent. Elite membership comes with perks such as priority boarding, complimentary seat selection, waiver of change or cancellation fees for alterations made at least seven days prior to departure, and complimentary baggage at higher tiers.

FRONTIER Miles is designed to be family-friendly, facilitating easy rewards sharing through family mileage pooling.
