GF Hotels & Resorts Announces New Vice Presidents of Operations: Melinda Capen and Steve Cadaret

GF Hotels & Resorts, a prominent leader in hospitality ownership, management, and advisory services, is thrilled to announce the addition of two accomplished professionals, Melinda Capen and Steve Cadaret, as Vice Presidents of Operations. Their extensive expertise and deep passion for hospitality will play a crucial role in enhancing the operational performance across GF Hotels & Resorts’ diverse portfolio.

With nearly 20 years of experience, Melinda Capen brings a strong commitment to excellence within the hospitality sector. Holding a degree in Hotel Management, she has honed her skills in financial management, operations, and revenue strategies. Her hands-on leadership approach focuses on fostering collaboration among owners, team members, and brand partners. Melinda previously served as Vice President of Operations at Aimbridge Hospitality, where she successfully led teams since 2018. Her broad experience across various markets and ownership models makes her a valuable addition to GF Hotels & Resorts as the company continues to expand and evolve.

Outside of her professional life, Melinda enjoys traveling with her husband and spending time with their pets. She has a deep love for international travel, the outdoors, and photography, and is actively involved with Habitat for Humanity. Her wealth of experience and leadership style make her a perfect fit for her role as Vice President of Operations.

Steve Cadaret also brings a wealth of operational experience, having worked with several well-known brands to boost revenue and improve guest satisfaction. Over his career, Steve has held key leadership positions, giving him comprehensive knowledge of managing various hotel departments. He is a strong advocate for employee development and has implemented strategies to improve retention and foster a positive work environment. Prior to joining GF Hotels & Resorts, Steve served as Regional Vice President of Operations at Aimbridge Hospitality, overseeing the Michigan and Illinois regions.

Residing in Lake Orion, MI, Steve enjoys family time with his wife, four children, and five grandchildren. His hobbies include beach vacations, playing pickleball, golfing, and cheering for the Dallas Cowboys. In his new role as Vice President of Operations, Steve will contribute significantly to shaping the company’s operational strategies and spearheading growth initiatives.
