In June, Goa will organize five significant meetings of the G20 summit. It will cover areas like finance, startups, assessment and tourism. On Thursday, a senior official unveiled about it.
This summit will bring together members from the important economies of the world and offer a chance for dialogue and collaboration on world problems as well as disputes. Mr. Sanjit Rodrigues, who is the nodal officer for the summit in Goa, said this.
While briefing about the meetings, Mr. Chintan Vaishnav, Startup20 India Chair and Mission Director, said that regarding the Startup20 Engagement Group, the Startup20 Goa Sankalpana is the third meeting under the Indian Presidency of the G20 to be organized on June 3rd and 4th respectively.
Vaishnav said that for talks on a common framework, this summit will be one of the platforms to define startups. G20 member countries like the US and India, will have a long careful consideration on the above topics in order to encourage growth of new ventures.
The summit in Goa will try to come to a conclusion on June 3rd and 4th, regarding the framework that is appropriate all over G20 countries, he said.
Also, the meeting will aim on setting up consensus on the Draft Policy Communiqué. He said that it was published of late by the Startup20 looking for public views.
The final statement will be taken to the Gurugram meeting. It’s scheduled on July 3 and 4.
