Goa tourism organizes run for a cause

The Goa Tourism Nuron Rotary Rain Run’s 9th edition will be happening in the state in July this year. It’s an internationally authorized incident with participants for different categories in the open and veteran sections.

The event has earned the status of being a certified measured course by the World Athletics which is a global sport’s governing organization, in collaboration with the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races, will be helped by the Indian Army and Navy personnel.

Also, members of the two military wings will take part in the event along with acting as volunteers all along the run route. 

The recent edition of the Goa Tourism Nuron Rotary Rain Run, hosted by the Rotary Charitable Trust of Porvorim, will have race categories that comprise a 2 kms walk organized just for fun, a 5 kms dream run together with a timed 10 kms and 21 kms run respectively. 

         
Till now, for 2023, more than thousand participants have registered. For the event, registration is scheduled to take place on July 30 th , and will close on July 25 th .

The 9th edition of the run for the 21.1 kms will kick-start at 5.30 am from the Sports Authority of Goa athletics stadium which is located in Bambolim, Goa. The participants will reach the Miramar Circle. From there the participants will turn around and head back towards the stadium.
