Gran Hotel Bristol in Havana by Kempinski Hotels recently opened its doors to guests. Located between Old Havana and Centro Habana, the property is built in the heart of the city. The hotel is a perfect retreat for the modern traveller and is inspired by the iconic art deco style of the 1930s.

The Gran Hotel Bristol offers accommodation of 162 guestrooms. Each room is properly furnished according to modern standards and comes with a flat-screen television, a separate control panel and complimentary free Wi-Fi. The interiors of the rooms are well-designed with bright accents and clean lines. The hotel also has an intermediate mezzanine ground floor that includes a meeting room. The meeting room can accommodate up to 12 people and is ideal for hosting intimate meetings and creative presentations. The room also has a large LCD screen.

In addition, there is a rooftop pool that can be considered as a standalone destination itself. Guests can enjoy a rejuvenating swim and watch the picturesque view of the cityscape. They can also enjoy poolside lounging while admiring the reflection of the magnificent golden dome of El Capitolio. The pool will also serve handmade cocktails to visitors.

The hotel also comes with its own gym completely equipped with contemporary fitness equipment. It provides guests with the opportunity to have a satisfying workout session. Alongside the gym is a unisex salon offering various professional hair, make-over and nail services provided by skilled staffs.

The property features a large variety of cuisine and entertainment options. The El Capitolio restaurant serves breakfast and dinner in a well-designed and vibrant dining room as well as an open-air eatery in the rooftop. Meanwhile, the El Diamante restaurant and bar provides light snacks throughout the day and presents a lively cocktail hour with live DJ and music. There is also an additional Pasos Perdidos bar in the lobby area that serves the signature or continental Cuban breakfast and Cuban latte daily. The bar remains open throughout the day and offers a healthy lunch menu as well as a trendy dinner. The La Muralla Club will also open towards the end of this month and expand the cuisine and entertainment option further.

The Gran Hotel Bristol is also a stone’s throw away from the National Capitol Building and within walking distance of the city’s important hotspots and precious hidden destinations. The building is the third Cuban property belonging to Kempinski Hotels.
