Grenada Tourism Authority launches new lifestyle campaign

On Wednesday, August 5 Grenada Tourism Authority (GTA) launched a new lifestyle campaign titled ‘Just-For-You’ at the Radisson Grenada Beach Resort’s ‘Grenada Room’, in order to showcase the varied offerings of the three-island nation of Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique while observing safety, health and wellbeing.


The campaign aims to invite visitors to discover and explore immersive cultural experiences in the destinations while maintaining a peace of mind about the protection of their health and safety. The campaign has been aligned with the phased reopening of Grenadian borders, which saw commercial flights from the Caribbean allowed from July 15 expand into receiving international flights from ‘medium’ risk countries from August 1.


‘Just-For-You’ has been strategically designed to appeal to those who are currently able and willing to travel for leisure. The Ministry of Health and the GTA have also trained and certified over 1,800 tourism industry stakeholders in recent weeks, across accommodation, attractions, food and beverage, tourism services including marinas, tourism transportation such as airport taxis, and water sports. Certified service providers can be easily identified by the ‘Pure Safe Travel’ Seal of Approval, prominently displayed.


Patricia Maher, Chief Executive Officer, Grenada Tourism Authority said in a statement that the country provides travellers with a dynamic variety of boutique accommodations and hospitality services that range from approved certified hotels, apartments and villas to casual and fine dining restaurants. She mentioned that Grenada provides visitors the option to customize their experience to one that it is intimate and relaxed. She shared that the title of the campaign gives out the same message and provides tourism authority an opportunity to say Grenada offers the small islands’ unspoiled tropical surroundings and uncrowded white sandy beaches just for the travellers.


A video and suite of images highlighting the islands treasures, freedom to explore, unique culture and friendly people as well as the health and safety measures in place to protect residents and visitors was launched to complement the campaign and will be shared across all social media channels of Grenada tourism as well as with industry partners.
