Harbour Hotels Group become member of Meetings Industry Association

MIAFive hotels representing the luxury brand known as Harbour Hotels Group have joined the Meetings Industry Association (MIA).


MIA is a leading association that is involved with the meetings, incentives, conferences and events sector. Members of the MIA leverage the industry networking opportunities, access to data, favorable rates for training as well as professional developmental events and even a deep industry insight from influential benchmarking tools and an increased commercial insight.


The Harbour Hotels in Guildford, Bristol, Brighton and Chichester have all been able to achieve the globally acclaimed accreditation of MIA as a part of their brand new partnership.


The new Southampton Harbour Hotel would seek accreditation on opening on October 2017.


AIM is the nationally recognized standard for service providers and venues associated with the meetings industry with as many as 50 criteria that should be met to achieve accreditation.


Harbour Hotel Group is also known for its collection of luxurious properties in the southern parts of England as well as some award-winning restaurants. Managing director of Harbour Hotels, Mike Warren said that joining the MIA would ensure some great benefits to their hospitality group.
