Heathrow airport grounds around 50 flights due to bad weather

Heathrow airport, the busiest airport in United Kingdom has grounded more than 50 flights due to adverse weather condition in United Kingdom.

As the United Kingdom struggles through icy conditions, several services will remain closed for an uncertain time.

The overnight sub-zero conditions led to the cancellation of several flights, while even more delayed.

48 flights have already been cancelled, and the numbers are still increasing with time.

 A look at the schedule chart shows that out of all the cancelled flights, the majority was with British Airways, and a few BA flights were cancelled within 60 minutes.

The Airport authorities have imposed strict restrictions on airways due to icy conditions and snowy weather, leading to delays of a lot of flights.
