Hilton’s Conrad Punta de Mita is all set to open a new property in Mexico’s Riviera Nayarit starting September 1. The thoughtfully designed newly-built resort will offer travelers an authentic, tranquil respite and deliver an inspired beach vacation, the Conrad way. Situated among the area’s serene natural landscapes and aquamarine waters, the resort has been influenced by Mexico’s rich history and unique culture.
Adorned with indigenous artwork it integrates exceptional amenities to create a sense of barefoot resort elegance that highlights its local Mexican identity. The resort offers a total of 324 guest rooms and suites, all of which boasts views of the Pacific Ocean. The suites and villa ‘Casitas’ offers large patios, plunge pools, freestanding soaking tubs and outdoor showers. In addition, it will have three pools, including an adult, lap and kids pool, spread out among the resort’s vast outdoor areas.
The property also comes with a four restaurant and three bar concept. It will offer menus and spaces that pay tribute to age-old techniques and flavors of the local culture. CODEX, a speciality restaurant will feature local ingredients and unique dining experiences like the Full Moon Experience which includes a curated menu based on the phases of the moon, and the ‘Cuuca Hiici’ Experience which incorporates traditional foods with gratitude rituals all set in a serene ambiance.
The hotel will also have the signature Conrad SPA with its unique indoor or outdoor design and traditional Temazcal spread across 10,000 square feet. Seven cocoon treatment cabanas will be nestled among the vegetation and connected by an inspiring tunnel of plants and flowers. It also has a fitness center that would offer an outdoor lawn for yoga and stretching. The hotel is located in the same private development as the Litibu Golf Course, and will offer guests an 18-hole golf experience designed by Greg Norman.
Hyper-local experiences both on and off-property pay homage to the area’s cherished customs and traditions. The Fish Market and Zarandeado Experience are among the major highlights that would provide visitors an extraordinary opportunity to step out of the resort and witness the local lifestyle. They can also embark on a 30-minute boat tour through the iconic Marietas Islands that would take guests to an original fish market in La Cruz de Huanacaxtle to learn to cook Riviera Nayarit’s regional dish ‘Pescado Zarandeado.’ As of now it has been decided that the resort will open at 30% capacity with 96 guest rooms available for booking upon opening.
