A lack of workforces in the airlines industry is dwarfing Hong Kong’s struggles for re-establishing the global connections that are important for its status as an economic hub.

Airlines are stressed and finding it tough to employ staff locally, thereby forcing flights to postpone recommencing routes that were closed for the duration of Hong Kong’s segregation in the course of the past few years. The airport is functioning with 32% less employees compared to the times before the pandemic, as per the latest figures furnished by the Airport Authority.
