Hotel & Restaurant Association of Western India Elevates Civic Responsibility with a Powerful Pledge to Vote Campaign

Building on the success of its Pledge to Vote campaign for the May 2024 General Elections, the Hotel & Restaurant Association of Western India (HRAWI) has launched a larger-scale initiative for the upcoming Maharashtra Assembly elections. With a focus on boosting voter turnout, HRAWI has circulated a message encouraging its members to actively promote the Pledge to Vote campaign among their patrons.

The circular provides various strategies for engaging patrons and highlighting the value of each vote. Member establishments are encouraged to display placards prominently, reminding guests of the election day and motivating them to participate in the democratic process. Additionally, HRAWI has suggested offering incentives, such as discounts or promotions, to patrons who show their ink-marked fingers as proof of voting.

HRAWI is also urging members to utilize their digital platforms for social media engagement. By sharing regular updates, alerts, and reminders, the association aims to spread the message of responsible citizenship to a broader audience.
