Hotels all over Greece are shutting down as of Monday morning with few exceptions that were to be modified on Sunday, putting the tourism of Greece on ice even though it is the prime income source for many districts of the country like Nafplio in the Peloponnese.
The exceptions are the ones which are already having guests and was permitted to remain open for an extra week, and those hosting members of the armed force, police, medical personnel and refugees.
The Hellenic Chamber of Hotels will chalk out a list of one to three hotels per prefecture that will remain open, following a draw among units that expressed an interest.
