IAS Suneel Anchipaka appointed as new Tourism Director, Goa

Suneel Anchipaka, an AGMUT cadre IAS officer from 2014, has been appointed as Director of Tourism, Goa.

Anchipaka, who was previously the Transport Secretary, has also been named Director of Information Technology (additional capacity).

Polumatla P Abhishek, a 2017 IAS officer, has been appointed as Chief Inspector of Industries and Boilers, with immediate effect. Abhishek is also the MD of the Goa Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC).

Sneha Gitte, a 2019 IAS officer who served as Special Secretary for Home and Personnel, has been transferred and assigned as Director of Environment.

She has also been appointed as Member Secretary of the Goa Coastal Zone Management Authority (additional capacity).
