Helping and developing tourism industry in return strengthens Quebec’s economy. That’s the reason today, Honourable minister for sport, Pascale St-Onge, responsible for CED, unveiled about repayable contribution of $500,000 for Concept Éco-Plein-Air Le Baluchon inc. to improve the contribution of tourism. In order to meet the rising demand noticed during the pandemic, the resort operator will be capable to modify its room.

Provided under the Tourism Relief Fund, this CED aid, in particular will allow Le Baluchon to set up three original accommodation units. For families and small groups of tourists, these will provide varied experiences.

Le Baluchon is an exclusive hotel concern. It provides an experience like no other: The eco-resort. Le Baluchon offers guests with the chance to find out new and thrilling experiences in a way that’s helpful for the environment. The tourism sector is the main contributor to the economy of Canada which has been impacted badly by the health crisis.

The Government of Canada from the beginning of COVID-19 has inflicted steps to assist businesses that are going through the ill-impacts of COVID-19. The Tourism Relief Fund was set up particularly to assist tourism businesses providing modern products and services to visitors and welcome international travellers back.

Our government by investing in the development of the Mauricie Resort is helping region’s flagship tourism product which contributes to the demand of the MRC de Maskinongé.
