FITUR 2018, the International Tourism Trade Fair, will be organized between 17th-21st January in the Madrid Trade Fair. The fair will arrange the Conferences on Tourism Innovation, entitled ‘Tourism Intelligences’, organized by the Asociacion Espanola de Expertos Cientificos en Turismo, AECIT (Spanish Association of Science Experts in Tourism). These trade fairs will be held in Room N110 of the Madrid Trade Fair on Thursday 18th January, between 10 AM and 12 AM.
Smart tourism has become an important tool in terms of strategic management of any destination. The management of tourism data looks like a revolutionary and influential tool related to smart tourism sector which certainly requires to be utilized by professionals as a crucial chance in the world, waiting to be used.
The Travel and Tourism Competitiveness Index of the World Economic Forum, created that every two years, the most popular tourist destinations in the world will be selected from 136 countries. It has again ranked Spain at the top of the international tourism sector.
Juan Miguel Moreno, a specialist in tourism innovation, CEO of More Turismo Internacional, chaired the conference and AECIT board member, will act as an analyzer, evaluating the the importance of smart management in tourism. Particular cases from different organizations and countries will be studied, and four important professionals in the field will examine topics like, the influence of smart tourism in the competitiveness of countries, the responsibility of technology companies in terms of future of tourism, the structure offered by supranational organizations to smart tourism or the future of the tourism sector and the role of innovation in all of it.
