In Goa, roadshow was organized by Karnataka tourism

With the target to raise the footfall of domestic visitors from Goa, the Karnataka Tourism Department together with KSTDC on Monday had arranged a roadshow.

It was organized to showcase the performance of the ancient Veeragase Kunitha, a prehistoric art form of Karnataka, and the vivacious Karnataka culture for which it’s popular.

Various characteristics of Karnataka tourism was brought together at this roadshow like wildlife, nature, pilgrimage, adventure, heritage and many more.

The Director, Department of Tourism, Devaraj. A, said that the state is the home of several UNESCO world heritage attractions, famous worldwide, along with exotic wildlife and nature and remote beaches. The places receive tourists round the year. Domestic travel will get an impetus and this roadshow will improve the marketing initiations of the tourism department of the state in encouraging the attractions of the state to potential visitors along with travel business of Panaji and other regions in Goa.

The prime motive behind the roadshow is to encourage the state as an important leisure travel destination together with MICE travel and as a wedding destination as well.
