In HP, 99 percent tourism activities have restarted once again

Reviving from being on the receiving end of the fury of nature, at present, Himachal Pradesh is designing to arrange tourism festivals in its 12 districts as majority of its tourism activities have restarted once again in the state, on Tuesday an official said the same.

The vice chairman of the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Board, Raghubir Singh Bali, also added that the officers associated with district tourism would create the theme for the festivals in their respective districts and school and college students along with local representatives would take part in different
activities at the festival.

Flash floods and incessant rain, triggered huge landslides which had thrown sate’s normal life out of control. However, the government carried out restoration work actively and now roads are opened, services have been restarted once again and the state is completely all set to welcome tourists, Bali said in a report issued here.

Bali, who is the chairman of HP Tourism Development Corporation as well, said that at Junga, Shimla Flying Festival would be organized which is near the state capital. It would start from October 12 th and will continue till 15th. For the event, the tourism corporation has released Rs 10 lakh support.
