In luxury tourism, Turkey is aiming high

On a daily basis, share of Turkey in the upper segment tourism destinations of the world is rising and creating powerful alternatives for the tourists who are well-off. Different brand restaurants, golf courses, marinas, and unique bays are supporting these amenities.

The number of British tourists staying at these modern accommodations are hoped to be high in numbers. As the Russia-Ukraine war creates uncertainty on the arrival of Russian and Ukrainian tourists, many of visitors are hoped to pour in from the United States, Germany and France as well. In luxury hotel stays, domestic tourists are anticipated to grab a major share as well.

Tunç Batum, the General Manager of Hilton Dalaman Sarıgerme Resort & Spa, said that Ukraine, Russia, and former Soviet Union countries comprise almost 15 percent of their occupancy rate. From domestic market along with Europe and the United Kingdom, the resort can cover the loss.

From Russia, D Maris Bay in Göcek is getting reservations and experiencing a major rise in interest from the U.S. and European markets.
