In tourism, Net Zero is young with an efficient team

António Guterres, United Nations Secretary-General, recently has admitted that youth activists are at the front position of any campaign to secure a more comprehensive, diplomatic, and wealthy future for everyone.


When an expert group met in Jeddah to talk about the Sustainable Tourism Global Center, this was learnt. In Riyadh, a new and soon-to be finalized global plan would be launched.


In last year, TGC was first announced. It’s a movement in the making under the Minister of Tourism for the Kingdom, HE Ahmed Al-Khateeb, headed by HE Gloria Guevara, his top special advisor. Guevara was the erstwhile WTTC CEO and Mexico’s Minister of Tourism. An international dream team was introduced by her comprising experts to make this vibrant project a reality.


Climate Crusader, Ridhima Pandey, in India, is creating the circumstances to enable a sustainable future in her country. She said that she has been taught a lot about the climate relate change and negligence of climate in India.


The 15-year-old Ridhima Pandey, in a recent interview with Ved Sanyal from Net Zero, talks about her journey as an environmental activist and her ground-breaking work in court case for inaction related to climate change.


Pandey created international headlines when she took legal action against the Indian government for not maintaining its commitments under the Paris Agreement.


Also, she is one of 16 climate activists to lodge a case complaint against many governments at the UN.
