In Vizag suburb, AP Tourism Minister launched project of Rs. 2.09 crore

On Thursday, the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Minister, Muttamsetti Srinivasa Rao, and Mayor, G. Hari Venkata Kumari, laid the foundation stone for the developmental works of Rs. 2.09 crore at Pulaganipalem in Pendurthi.


The extension of the 40-feet road, building of culverts and roads in Ward 96 were included into the developmental works.


Mr. Srinivasa Rao, while speaking during the programme, explained that all city wards are being developed transparently, regardless of the political association. Also, he stated that the State government has approved funds for the tourism development of the city, which is going to be the executive capital of the State.


Ms. Venkata Kumari explained that importance is being given to offer the basic amenities like roads and drains in every ward. She also mentioned that corporators have been pinpointing the problems faced by the people in their wards during the ‘Coffee with Corporators’ programme.
