In Wadi Rum, now train trips will improve Jordan tourism

On Saturday, the Transport Minister of Jordan, Mr. Wajih Azaizeh, and the Tourism Minister, Mr. Nayef Fayez, met with Shehadeh Abu Hudaib, the Chairman of the Board of Directors at the Jordan Heritage Revival Company, and talked about the ways to encourage cooperation, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, said.

Also, the meeting was attended by the director of the Jordan Hijaz Railway Corporation. They aimed on the tourism project which was conducted by the railway company in Wadi Rum and focuses on boosting the tourism of Jordan.
Azaizeh emphasized that the role of Hijaz Railway of Jordan in drawing visitors by adding to the number of trips conducted by the old steam trains that shows Kingdom’s historical inheritance and the centenary of the Great Arab Revolt.

The meeting attendees decided on the urgency to fortify the cooperation and constant management of all parties in a way that would help the tourism of Jordan to draw visitors locally as well as internationally.
