Inde Hotels Achieve 11% Occupancy from Direct Bookings with Simplotel Technology

Today, Simplotel, a prominent SaaS provider specializing in e-commerce solutions for hotels, announced a significant achievement with Inde Hotels & Resorts, where direct bookings now represent 11% of total occupancy. Utilizing the Simplotel Hotel E-commerce platform, which includes a website builder and booking engine, Inde Hotels & Resorts saw a notable increase in both direct bookings and web traffic.

Established in 2018, Inde Hotels & Resorts operates 10 hotels in locations like Gurugram, Jodhpur, Jaipur, and Udaipur. Previously, the company achieved 65% of its occupancy through various online channels, yet direct bookings via their own website were notably low. They aimed to enhance room nights and revenue through their proprietary website.

Meggh Vinayak, Director of Revenue at Inde Hotels & Resorts, said, “Some of our team members have worked with Simplotel before. We knew Simplotel was the right solution to drive direct bookings for a hotel chain like us. For me personally, two features stand out. One is the scorecard that Simplotel provides. The data is insightful and helps us to devise rate-plan strategies for each property, get insights on length of stay & advance purchase patterns, et al. The second feature is the booking engine which is powerful and user-friendly. We are able to create bespoke offers on the go.”

After implementing Simplotel’s solutions just three months ago, direct bookings via their website surged to 11% of total occupancy, and website traffic increased by 50%. Since direct bookings typically yield a higher average daily rate (ADR), these now constitute 13% of Inde Hotels & Resorts’ total room revenue.
