India to introduce a national tourism policy in two months

India is prepared to announce an all-inclusive National Tourism Policy in the next two months. This was declared by the Union Minister G Kishan Reddy.

Reddy, who is the minister for Culture Tourism and Development of North Eastern region said that at present deliberations are going on with all shareholders, tours and travels groups, state governments, financial organizations and also far-off tour operators for their ideas and proposals regarding the planned policy.

Minister Reddy said that they are discussing, and are receiving feedbacks. In more or less two months, before the budget session (of Parliament), the National Tourism Policy can be brought to the fore. Minister Reddy said this while speaking at an event in New Delhi.
