New Zealand’s dynamic youngest woman PM Jacinda Ardern is full of surprises. Behind her beaming smile, the stylish politician has even tried her hand at mixing beats as a DJ, a stark contrast to her political duties.
With this versatility, Jacinda, in her own style, has also expressed her love for Indian cuisines by sharing her fascinating experience with Indus restaurant based in the city of Wellington.
Her cravings for Indian curry were brought to the fore when she ordered her favourite dish from Indus Restaurant in the vicinity. The popular restaurant which offers exotic Indian delicacies was startled when they received an order from the Premier House (the official residence of the Prime Minister of New Zealand) in Wellington in November 2017.
Since then, she has been well known to order from the same restaurant for Indian food, usually paneer and saag curry along with naan which is their speciality.
The restaurant’s curries are quite famous and owing to the Prime Minister’s repeated orders, Indus Restaurant has now become a popular takeaway spot for many New Zealand politicians.
