Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi stresses on the need of the tourism promotion in Arunachal Pradesh, as the place is well known for the presence of serene snowy hills and the Buddhist monasteries.
He inaugurated the new Civil Secretariat complex and Dorjee Khandu State Convention Centre, said that the Central Government wants to promote tourism in Arunachal Pradesh.
Addressing a public rally at the capital of Arunachal Pradesh, Itanagar, the Prime Minister said that he want to promote tourism in Arunachal Pradesh.
Narendra Modi while inaugurating the Dorjee Khandu State Convention Centre, said that this is more than a building. This convention center will further the aspirations of Arunachal Pradesh. There will be conferences and cultural activities that will draw government officials and private companies.
Narendra Modi also stressed the need of holding government meetings and conferences at various state capitals instead of holding it in New Delhi. He reminded that he set the ball rolling by going to Shillong for a meeting of the North-eastern Council.
