Indian Railways’ Central Railway zone will operate mega block on its suburban sections today.
This is for carrying out various engineering and maintenance works.
The mega block is likely to affect sub-urban train services in Mumbai today.
Down Slow/Semi Fast services leaving Mulund from 10.43 am to 3.46 pm will be diverted on Down Fast line between Mulund and Kalyan stations.
The train will halt at Thane, Diva, Dombivali stations and will arrive destination 10 minutes behind schedule.
Up Slow/ Semi fast services leaving Kalyan from 10.37 am to 3.51 pm will be diverted on Up fast line between Kalyan and Mulund stations.
The trains will halt at Dombivali, Diva, Thane stations and further will be re-diverted on Up Slow line at Mulund station.
All Up and Down slow services leaving/arriving at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus between 11.00 am to 5.00 pm will arrive/depart 10 minutes behind schedule.
Dn BSU line services for Kharkopar and Up BSU line services for Nerul will remain cancelled.
Special local trains will run on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai – Vashi section during the block period.
Trans-harbour line services will be available between Thane-Vashi/Nerul stations during the block period.
Local train services on BSU line between Belapur and Kharkopar will run as per schedule during the block period
Meanwhile, a Jumbo Block will be carried out by Western Railway during the intervening night of 30th and 31st August 2021 at Bandra Terminus Yard.
Therefore, there will be no Jumbo Block on Sunday, 29th August 2021 during the day on Western Railway’s Mumbai Suburban section.
