The Ministry of Tourism in Indonesia, Wego and Creative Economy are joining hands to revitalize tourism in Bali, for welcoming more than 900,000 tourists by the end of the third quarter. Bali is fully prepared to greet tourists and has all the right things in place, starting from adventure, serene locations, waterfalls along with nightclubs and treks.

With the help of Wego’s huge user base in MENA, Indonesia Tourism Board can uphold its tourism appeal and Bali, especially to impel more bookings. To renew tourism after the pandemic, Indonesia has started an exhibition with the theme, “It’s time for Bali” and is presenting visa on arrival for 72 countries. The Indonesian government is also taking few measures to attain maximum inoculation rates in Bali and keep up with the standards as per CHSE certifications.

Mamoun Hmedan, Wego’s Chief Commercial Officer and Managing Director of Middle East, North Africa (MENA) & India said that they are expanding their affiliation to encompass more destinations and proffer the users with a lot more choice. Indonesia and predominantly Bali is a preferred destination for many travelers, particularly from the MENA region. Hmedan said that they are looking forward to work with the Indonesia Tourism Board for attracting more travelers to the country.

Indonesia is also preparing to host the international G20 summit in Nusa Dua, Bali, in November this year.
