Starting December 15, the airline will begin operating these exciting new routes, marking a strategic expansion aimed at enhancing connectivity across Indonesia’s top travel hotspots. Tickets for these new flights went on sale just last week.

The new services will connect Bali, one of Indonesia’s most renowned international tourist hubs, to Lombok and Bima, two stunning destinations that offer unique natural attractions. Additionally, TransNusa will launch direct flights from Sorong, a top diving destination, to Timika, and from Manado to Sorong, strengthening access to Papua’s spectacular diving sites and pristine landscapes.
The new Bali-Lombok service will begin on December 15 and will operate twice daily. This route will provide tourists with easier access to Lombok, known for its world-class surf spots and pristine beaches. The first flight will depart from Bali’s Denpasar International Airport at 7:30 AM and arrive in Lombok at 7:55 AM. The return flight will leave Lombok at 8:25 AM and reach Bali by 9:05 AM. In the afternoon, a second flight will depart Bali at 3:55 PM, landing in Lombok at 4:50 PM, with the return flight scheduled to depart Lombok at 5:20 PM and arrive back in Bali at 6:05 PM. This route promises to significantly boost travel between these two popular islands.

Simultaneously, TransNusa will start flights from Bali to Bima, a town famed for its breathtaking landscapes and the gateway to Pantai Pink, a beach with striking pink sands and crystal-clear waters. Starting December 15, the airline will operate flights four times a week—on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. The Bali to Bima flight will depart Denpasar at 9:35 AM, arriving at Sultan Muhammad Salahuddin Airport in Bima at 10:35 AM. The return flight will depart Bima at 11:00 AM, arriving back in Bali at 12:10 PM. From December 22, the airline will offer daily flights on this route, catering to the growing demand for access to Bima’s natural beauty.
TransNusa is also strengthening its presence in Papua with new routes from Sorong, a popular diving island, to Timika, as well as from Manado to Sorong. The Sorong to Timika flight will begin operations on December 15 and will be available four times a week: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. This flight will depart from Sorong’s Domine Eduard Osok International Airport at 10:50 AM, reaching Timika’s Mozes Kilangin Airport at 12:10 PM. The return flight will depart Timika at 12:40 PM and arrive back in Sorong at 2:00 PM.

Meanwhile, the Manado to Sorong route will operate four times a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The flight will leave Sam Ratulangi International Airport in Manado at 8:00 AM, landing in Sorong at 10:20 AM. The return leg will depart Sorong at 2:30 PM, arriving back in Manado at 2:50 PM. These two new services will provide easier access to the enchanting dive sites and natural wonders that Papua has to offer.
