Following the strategic agreements of joint venture which took place in November 2015 between HNA Tourism and Pierre & Vacances-Center Parcs (Paris:VAC) and the creation of the HNA PV Tourism Company Limited joint-venture in June 2016, the Pierre & Vacances-Center Parcs Group verifies the potential for development in China and the upcoming construction of the first tourism destinations.
Dual-brand strategy
The Pierre & Vacances-Center Parcs Group follows a dual-brand strategy with HNA Tourism. It is introducing two tourism brands in China. The joint-venture HNA PV Tourism Company Limited is to construct resorts encouraged by the Center Parcs concept in the style of the SUNPARKS banner and tourism residences under the PIERRE & VACANCES banner. These two PVCP Group brands are intended to become eminent names in family tourism in China.
In China, the Pierre & Vacances-Center Parcs Group has finally come to an agreement to utilize the SUNPARKS brand, which reminds vacations, sunny destinations and a return to basics in a natural environment for Chinese customers.
The SUNPARKS brand is all prepared to provide Chinese customers a new approach in enjoying holiday. Located at an easy to get to position, within two-to-three hours, the SUNPARKS resorts are all geared up to offer a special natural lifestyle for short stays in the midst of natural environment along with a water park and leisure facilities for kids.
