IPL uncertainty in the UAE is a huge setback for India’s struggling tourism market. Indecision over whether spectators will be present at the Indian Premier League (IPL) matches in the UAE later this month has dealt a big blow to the Indian tourism sector, which is already trying to cope with the impact of corona virus.

Indian tour operators and airlines are yet to witness any increase in bookings related to the Indian Premier League which is slated to commence in the UAE next week.

The 2020 IPL season will get going on September 19 in Abu Dhabi with a blockbuster clash between defending champions Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings.
